Utilization Management Intake Coordinator
The coordinator is responsible for receiving inbound calls, faxes, and web requests from providers and clients. Responsible for initiating and/or facilitating the authorization process in accordance with established health plan policies and procedures.
- 3 years experience in managed care, hospital unit clerk (or comparable)
- Familiar with medical terminology
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word
- Excellent customer service and phone skills
Claims Contract Negotiator
Negotiates with providers for aggressive discounts on claims in the work queue, generates and faxes proposals and/or Letters of Agreement. Develops and maintains contractual relationships with network providers.
- Proven negotiating and contracting experience within healthcare industry
- Excellent communication skills
- Goal oriented, customer focused, and dynamic
- Working knowledge of health insurance and managed care concepts
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of college and experience
Claims Clerical Specialist
Performs clerical processes to support claims negotiation, re-pricing, and other departmental functions.
- Ability to learn new computer programs quickly and successfully
- Knowledge of MS Office, including Excel and Word
- Prior general office experience, health insurance or medical setting a plus
- Excellent telephonic customer service skills including ability to speak clearly and compose correspondence using correct English grammar.
- High school diploma
